Welcome to RRSC!!

The development of this webpage has been a long, taxing process, and at least in my mind, long overdue. I’m sure I can speak on my wife’s behalf here in saying that we are both extremely proud of this endeavor, eager to see where this leads us, and most importantly- excited as hell to finally be able to share what we do directly with all of you. Whether you’re a friend, family, or colleague, or someone who we’ve never met and just stumbled across this site, I want to sincerely thank each one of you for taking the time to explore our site and our content. Our hope is that this page will become one of the mainstays in your catalogue of Olympic lifting and strength and conditioning resources.

No different than just about any other strength coach out there, we have long mulled over the idea of putting together our own website. In career fields such as this one, self-promotion and content sharing is all but a mandatory requirement for growth and success. I suppose the unique aspect in our case is that we have the tremendous fortune of being able to run this as a joint operation, which I must admit is pretty damn cool. Hopefully for our audience that also has some practical application as well, as two perspectives are typically better than just one.

This is not my first attempt at creating my own strength and conditioning webpage, hopefully, however, this will be the first successful webpage with my name attached to it. I only mention this to say that this time around we have put a tremendous amount of time, thought, and effort into this venture. There were so many unforeseen setbacks, barriers, and butting of heads along the way. Nevertheless, I’m very confident that all of the turbulence will very much be worth it. So with all of that being said, we are extremely proud of the final (initial) product, and we are extremely excited to have caught your interest.

Allow me to just provide a brief overview, or I suppose a pseudo mission statement, in this inaugural post to cover explicitly what RRSC is and is not intended to be.

Our intention with this site is really quite simple- provide authentic content in our respective professional fields, in the best way that we know how, using the most reliable and current sources of information. I have always had a penchant for writing and feel as if it’s one of my stronger skill sets. So for me, this is my preferred way to express thought and distribute content. Our site will be two-fold, we want the majority of this site to be free content, which is why we will never charge for articles or anything of the like. The second component, which will be monetized, will be our exercise library and remote programming. Our goal is to put equal emphasis on each respective end and provide something for individuals seeking different material. Our articles will be as eclectic as my thought process and won’t really follow any particular pattern. We have the starting goal of providing two articles each per month, I will be providing the content for the S&C side, and she will provide all of the Oly content. I will add a caveat to that by saying that we are going to start off by publishing a wide array of articles in effort to cater to people with no knowledge of S&C as well as those who would be considered “experts” in the field. As we continue to get a feel for our audience we will shape the content as such.

We’re trying to take a “unique” approach to this.. admittedly.. but at the end of the day, this is just another S&C website created by young, unproven strength coaches. In no way shape or form are we ever going to claim that we know everything, so there are bound to be mistakes, subjective opinions, and even misinformation. If, and when, this may occur, we are always going to be receptive to discourse and constructive input. We simply ask that if you catch any errors within our content, grammatically, factually, or otherwise, please contact us directly through a private platform. Finally, in no way, shape, or form should this site ever be used for medical diagnoses, scholarly reference, or medical reference. All we are trying to do is share what we’ve learned in our time as strength and Olympic coaches, and generate some dialogue while sharing information and content.

Thank you, sincerely, for your interest in what we have to offer. We are wholeheartedly committed to constructing one of the most valuable and invigorating strength training services on the web. And we are thrilled to have you become apart of our endeavor.

Sincerely- Danny, Nicole, Rudy and Rocky
